Supplements & Procedures

Supplements and supporting procedures play a huge role in any cancer-fighting regimen. Their value cannot possibly be overestimated. The following list provides a brief overview of the supplements I took and procedures I did — a result of extensive research of many hours by my wife and myself.

The links provided here are to the precise supplements I took; there is obviously no reason you cannot take others, especially if you are not able to order from the websites below, but you can at least refer to the brand and the ingredients to compare with what you think of getting. Try to buy naturally sourced supplements — i.e. those made from actual plants (or, in some cases, animal material) as the active ingredients in them in many cases differ substantially from a purely chemically synthesized formula, both on the physical level and on the energetic one.

The dosages, where given, are per day. For many supplements this means you have to take multiple pills; if that’s the case, it’s probably best to divide the dosage and take it throughout the day so the effect is spread more evenly. Note that therapeutic (active treatment) dosages are typically 2-3 times (or more) higher than maintenance ones. If a product’s label has several dosages listed, go with the highest one; if it doesn’t, double or triple the dosage, especially if a supplement has no side effects at high doses. Certain supplements/meds need to be taken in specific doses, for instance, artemisinin and low-dose naltrexone.

You will be taking a lot of supplements. It’s worth introducing them gradually, to see if any given supplement gives you problems on its own or due to some interaction with what you’re already taking. Most supplements should have a break in administration: 1-2 weeks for each 2-3 months of uninterrupted use. The breaks should not all happen at the same time, leaving you without any supplementation.

Once you glance at the list that follows, a question will inevitably arise: are all of them really necessary??? To be fair, probably not. However, we don’t have direct visibility into the massively complex processes going on inside our bodies at all times, and how the addition or removal of a particular supplement or nutrient may affect those processes. Keeping tabs on what you can, via regular bloodwork and other medical tests, as well as doing more advanced testing once in a while — either the supplement suitability testing via RGCC Onconomics or energetic diagnostics/scanning with CyberScan, Bio-Resonance/Biofeedback Technology devices, PEMF, or other similar devices — will make a difference in the precision of your approach.

Procedures

  • Russian/Turkish baths and Infrared Saunas. Sweat excretes 300 times more of lead than its concentration in the blood, 30 times more of cadmium, 10 times of arsenic, and large amounts of BPA and phthalates. In addition to the detoxification effect, which takes place at any temperatures as long as you sweat, saunas/bathhouses that can reach 180F or hotter will trigger heat shock proteins, which are scavengers that remove damaged cells from the body (the principle of autophagy). Note that such very high temperatures (180F+) are contraindicated in those with G6PD deficiency due to the potential of the oxidative stress triggering hemolytic anemia.
  • Enemas/Colonics/Hydrotherapy. Proper hydrotherapy with a qualified practitioner can help you get rid of parasites, blockages, intestinal kinks, and years of accumulated toxic matter in your colon. Considering that 60-80% of our immune system resides in the gastro-intestinal tract in the form of beneficial microbiome, it’s absolutely critical to cleanse the GI system and repopulate it with good bacteria as early as possible. After a few sessions of hydrotherapy (or if you can’t find a center), switch to home enemas. Get an enema kit and enema coffee (or chamomile) and do one at least once daily (or every other day if daily is impossible) in the first couple of months, after that decreasing to once every other day and then twice or so a week. The large intestine serves mostly to remove the waste matter from the digestive tract; it should thus be clear that you don’t want this waste matter, especially filled with toxins being expelled from the body, to sit in your gut longer than absolutely necessary and be absorbed back into your bloodstream. Enemas/colonics don’t reach the small intestine where good bacteria live; however, to ensure the gut is always populated with good bacteria, take a course of a quality probiotic every couple of months and add fermented foods to most meals.
  • Rife Devices. Use only plasma-based machines. At certain frequencies these can get pretty loud. I ran “noisy” programs throughout the day and quiet programs at night. We found the following manufacturers; please leave a comment if you know of others:
    • TrueRife. Reliable and widely used device.
    • GB4000. Contact only in its default configuration (Plasma unit available separately), however, even in contact mode proved to be very effective against cancer in practice.
    • Spooky2. Has interesting capabilities in addition to plasma (e.g., the Contact, Remote, Ultrasound, and Cold Laser methods) that the others don’t have, plus you can buy a separate HeaWea Microgen unit to run frequencies in contact mode while on the go. Rather difficult to use, but with some videos you can pick up the main concepts pretty quickly, and the capabilities and program selection make up for the initial learning curve.
    • Resonant Light. They don’t refer to their device as Rife-based (rather, plasma-based), but it seems to be Rife with some sort of twist.
    • Theraphi. This is a plasma device, like the ones above, however, they also don’t refer to it as a Rife machine.
    • Resonant Wand. Including this as an example of a non-plasma device with a limited range of frequencies, of which there are a few on the market.
  • PEMF (Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field). AmpCoil is one of the best examples and has a very interesting feature where it can diagnose your general health condition from a short sample of your voice. BioCharger NG is another one. The “Product Comparisons” page on the BioCharger website lists devices by other manufacturers.
  • Scalar Energy. CyberScan (contact), Sensitiv Imago, and Spooky2’s scalar unit (and probably others I’m not aware of).
  • For any energy-related treatments, purchasing even one of these devices is probably out of the question for most people, although some of the Rife systems are (somewhat) affordable if you want to run them 24/7 (e.g., Spooky2 and TrueRife). It may make sense to try and find holistic centers near you that use these and other devices (e.g., CyberScan, Theraphi, Sensitiv Imago, or others) for diagnostics and treatment.

Supplements & Food Items

  • Rick Simpson Oil (RSO, also known as Full Spectrum Cannabis Oil or Full Extract Cannabis Oil). 500-1000 mg per day (depending on the severity of your condition), taken in two portions, with CBD or CBG (or ideally, both) taken a couple of hours away — an absolute must (speaking from experience), plus, if administering RSO rectally, 40-50 mg added orally (also a must). The oral dose needs to be built up gradually, starting from 5 mg, as taking even 25 mg without building tolerance is going to knock you out hard. Not pleasant. According to some sources, RSO/Cannabis needs to be taken 2-3 hours apart from Turmeric/Curcumin, so this may affect your timing for these two, perhaps restricting Curcumin mostly to lunchtime. Buy only from reputable suppliers, either official local dispensaries or, what’s far better, suppliers proven to sell quality oil, such as Doppler Essential Oils (requires proof of illness) or OG Labs. CBD in isolate powder form can be found here or here (keep in mind that CBD/CBG powders must be dissolved in MCT/coconut oil as they are not water soluble, however, you can also buy full-spectrum CBD and CBG distillates, which contain other compounds for synergistic effects); Aspen Green (and quite a few others) make great liquid formulations. More detailed information on administration can be found in Appendix C on the Protocol page. If you have access to it, RSO should be your number one treatment. Best varieties for cancer treatment: Harlequin; Gorilla Glue; Bio Diesel; Oil Spill; Wedding Cake; Train Wreck; Chem D; Sour Diesel; Bubba Kush; Blue Dream; White Widow.
  • Essiac Tea. Another powerful cancer fighter. While no natural treatment has a 100% success rate (although Rife and RSO get pretty darn close), Essiac shows incredible results. There are many vendors selling Essiac; however, so far we found only two — this and this — that appear to use Rene Caisse’s original formula. 2-3 ounces 3-4 times a day on an empty stomach. Certainly upon awakening and before bed.
  • Low-dose naltrexone (LDN). LDN is a powerful cancer fighter in its own right and is synergistic with DIM for an even better effect. 3-5 mg a day. Prescription only, unfortunately, and dispensed only by compounding pharmacies, so you’ll need to find a doctor who will prescribe it for you. Synergistic with DIM-250.
  • Artemisinin. Artemisinin is another powerful cancer treatment in its own right that works by binding to iron in cancer cells and then “exploding” them from within by oxygenating. Considering that cancer cells are obligatory iron and sugar consumers (i.e. they cannot survive without iron and glucose), artemisinin attacks them via one of these two direct pathways — without affecting healthy cells. However, it’s fairly demanding in administration and should be taken apart from several other supplements. I took it for a few months, but apparently incorrectly. The correct protocol can be found here and another variation here. Get the liposomal version, e.g. this or this, and supplement with artesunate. Worth noting that artemisinin/artesunate appear to trigger anemia in the G6PD deficient when taken consistently for more than a few days.
  • Vitamin D-3 with K-2. 5,000 IU (125 mcg) of Vitamin D and 100+ mcg of K-2. There are plenty of good brands; I used this formula and this one; the latter has capsules that can be opened and emptied into a juice or a mix. You should run at least three blood tests every month: Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Platelets and Differential, Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP), and Vitamin D Hydroxy. Lipid and Thyroid panels, as well as Vitamin B levels also wouldn’t hurt. Vitamin D levels in the blood should be no lower than 60 and ideally closer to 90, with the best range being 70 to 90. If it’s lower, increase the dosage to 10,000 IU for a few weeks. If it’s higher, pause for 2-3 weeks.
  • Vitamin B complex (or this or this), Vitamin A, and Vitamin E (or this), if/when needed.
  • Food-grade Diatomaceous Earth. Fantastic for cleansing the colon and getting rid of parasites. 1/2 tsp mixed in water on an empty stomach. Be careful not to inhale the fine powder when mixing.
  • Clays. Zeolite or Bentonite clays are powerful detoxifiers. 1/2-1 tsp mixed in water on an empty stomach. Some formulations, like Medi-Clay-FX or Toxaprevent, package them in capsules.
  • Probiotic. Take a course every month or two to replenish the good bacteria in the gut.
  • Melatonin. Melatonin is a more powerful antioxidant than even glutathione — the strongest, as a matter of fact. There are well-supported by research and practice approaches that use large doses of melatonin (180-360 mg and more a day) as a crucial part of treatment. Powder or capsule-based formulation. Doses of 30 mg a day and higher seem to trigger hemolytic anemia if you have G6PD deficiency.
  • Teas. Jason Winters; Soursop Leaves; Dandelion; Hibiscus; Burdock. A couple of formulas for other effects:
    • Parasites: boil onions, garlic, oregano, and cloves. Drink throughout the day.
    • Intestinal blockages: water with lemon and baking soda.
    • Inflammation: steep turmeric, black pepper, and ginger in hot water. Drink throughout the day.
  • Systemic (Proteolytic) Enzymes. Note that these are different from Pancreatic (Digestive) enzymes. Systemic enzymes reduce inflammation, eat scar tissue, dissolve microscopic blood clots — and also break down cancer cell walls to allow them to be attacked by the immune system. Considering that inflammation, infection, and toxins are major contributors to cancer, you want to eliminate or at least reduce as much as possible all of them. Take 3 capsules between meals (at least 2 hours after food and 30-45 minutes before). A few options: enteric-coated and not coated but with more enzymes (also Neprinol AFD, mentioned below, and Zymessence). Pancreatic/Digestive enzymes, on the other hand, should be taken at the end of meals if you have stomach issues — pain, burping, food sitting in the stomach for hours, etc., as they help digest the food. There are some naturopaths who believe that pancreatic enzymes also help to fight cancer and should be taken as proteolytic enzymes would; if you choose this path, the second of the two links above (the not coated one) contains digestive enzymes as well.
  • Curcumin/Turmeric. A powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer that attacks cancer cells on multiple pathways. I used three formulas, especially since interaction with RSO limited my use to once a day for a couple of months: one, two, three. It should be understood that even though turmeric contains other compounds that work synergistically with curcumin, by far the main ingredient in turmeric that we’re interested in is curcumin, and there’s only about 3% of it in raw turmeric. Make sure to have at least one pure curcumin extract in your regimen. Curcumin should be taken with oil and black pepper (bioperine) for best absorption.
  • Glutathione. Contraindicated with most cancers (especially for G6PD sufferers), but worth researching if can be used for your specific type of cancer. Note that NAC (N-acetyl-L-cysteine) is a precursor to glutathione, so make sure that if you don’t take glutathione to also not take NAC as part of some formulation (e.g. Mitocore). As a replacement for glutathione’s antioxidant action — and without its cancer-promoting effects — you can use large doses of melatonin with vitamin C.
  • Humic and Fulvic minerals. Support detoxification, specifically heavy metals, strengthen the immune system, and supply a host of vital minerals.
  • Glycine. General detox, including heavy metals.
  • Cat’s Claw. Detox infections, e.g. the common Cytomegalovirus.
  • Noni. Detox infections, e.g. Epstein-Barr Virus that’s found in almost all lymphoma cases.
  • Essential Oils. Frankincense, Myrrh, Peppermint, Lavender. 2 drops orally every 2-3 hours. These should be food grade, e.g., Doterra’s oils, although I’m not sure if this is important.
  • Fenbendazole. Antiparasitic, and similarly to other antiparasitics (e.g., Ivermectin and Niclosamide), is effective with several different types of cancer. 200-600 mg (of the active ingredient) and up to 1200-2000 mg for advanced cases daily for 6 weeks; some people take 3 days on, 4 days off. After a break of a couple of weeks, you can switch to Ivermectin.
  • Ivermectin. 12-30 mg per day (Mon-Fri, break over weekend) for 6 weeks. By prescription, but can be obtained via a telehealth service to treat Covid, or ordered from India.
  • Iodine and Iodide. 2-3 drops (800-1,200 mcg) a day in water or juice. There are well-researched protocols calling for 20-50 mg a day and even higher, however, experience seems to indicate that such doses trigger hemolytic anemia in those with G6PD deficiency.
  • Selenium (as selenite). 200-400 mcg a day.
  • Zinc. This or this. 50-60 mg a day.
  • Magnesium (as magnesium carbonate or citrate, not oxide). 4-5 g a day in water or juice.
  • Aloe Arborescens. Note that this is not the same as Aloe Vera. 10-15 ml 3 times a day.
  • Chlorella. Detoxifier and packed with vitamins and minerals. 1 scoop (3 g) 3 times a day in juice. In powder or chewable tablets.
  • Spirulina. 1 tsp 3 times a day in juice. Somewhat harsher on the stomach than chlorella.
  • Chlorophyll.
  • Amla. Indian gooseberry. A powerhouse immune booster and cancer fighter.
  • Citrus pectin. Pectasol from EcoNugenics is a great formulation.
  • AHCC. Excellent for immune function.
  • Fucoidan: This or this.
  • Moringa. 1 scoop 3 times a day in juice.
  • Mushrooms – Supplements: Mesima (20 capsules a day), Reishi (or this, or perhaps even better, this as the oil is a lot more potent than an extract or dry mushroom), Chaga with Birch Bark, Turkey Tail, Maitake D-Fraction, Cordyceps CS-4 (or this or this), Wheatgrass with Mushrooms. Note that the idea that therapeutic doses are 3-5 times higher than the maintenance ones typically suggested on product packages is especially applicable to mushrooms. For instance, for maximum efficiency, Mesima needs to be taken at about 20 capsules a day (~7 caps with each meal, which can be emptied into juice), and Cordyceps should ideally be taken by the tablespoon.
  • Adaptogens. This is a category of supplements that strengthen the body’s adaptability and immune system, thus helping it to fight stress, infections, viruses, bacteria etc. Many supplements on this list, such turmeric, cordyceps and others, already do this. Here are a few more, however, that are specifically adaptogens:
    • Both Ashwagandha and Panax Ginseng are powerful adaptogens and have many other properties useful in the fight against cancer.
    • Goji Berry.
  • Avmacol (Broccoli Seed Extract).
  • Milk Thistle/Liver Support. Excellent formula. 2 capsules once or twice a day 20-30 minutes before food. I also used nano silymarin at the same time.
  • Devil’s Claw. Capsules or liquid.
  • Berberine. Regulates your sugar levels throughout the day and has a slew of other benefits.
  • Metformin. This is an old drug used to control sugar in diabetes and can be used to effectively decrease sugar levels in the blood. By prescription only. Be careful not to take on an empty stomach or with food that has no carbs at all as it may cause extremely low blood sugar levels. I personally did not take it, figuring berberine 2-3 times a day should be sufficient with my diet.
  • Quercetin. This formula contains stinging nettle, which is great for the blood.
  • EGCG. This or this.
  • MCT Oil.
  • Omega 6+3. According to Dr. Gerald Smith’s research, Omega 6 oils are absolutely required for optimal health. The reason they got a bad rap is that virtually all omega 6 oils consumed today are adulterated and/or rancid. Omega 6 oil content in the body is much higher than omega 3, and so it’s required for it to function — the challenge is to find proper sources of omega 6.
  • Omega 3. Fish oils that are not stored in a refrigerator go rancid very quickly. Stick to those that must be refrigerated.
  • Black seed oil. A powerful supplement from many perspectives. I was not able to take it because of heartburn that would last several hours; however, if you can, you definitely should. Perhaps a formula in capsules is more manageable.
  • Oregano. Oil (capsules) or extract.
  • Boswellia.
  • MGN-3.
  • Resveratrol.
  • Grape Seed Extract. This or this.
  • Anti-Ox SAP.
  • CoQ10. Liquid or softgels.
  • R-ALA. 3 caps a day.
  • Garcinia Cambogia. Both Garcinia and ALA are powerful SCOT inhibitors (SCOT is one of the most distinctive pathways of cancer cell proliferation).
  • Honokiol.
  • Beet Powder. Detox and a great addition to mixes where some ingredients may be somewhat unpalatable, like turmeric.
  • Homeopathic Remedies:
  • Mistletoe. Recommended for several types of cancer, including leukemias and lymphomas, although injections are considerably more effective.
  • DCA (Sodium Dichloroacetate). Recommended especially for lymphomas, although I did not take it but kept as backup.
  • If needed:
    • Detox from radiation and other toxicity: American Nutriceuticals’ S.O.D. Support.
    • Mitochondrial Support: Mitocore. A fantastic formula containing all the crucial ingredients necessary for optimal functioning of mitochondria. Mitochondrial damage is at the core of cancer metabolism. Repairing it not only gives your cells more energy, but is also essential for getting back to health.
    • Adrenal Support: AdrenaVen or American Nutriceuticals Stress Ease.
    • Elevated Estrogen: Calcium D-Glucarate.
    • Low Platelets: Papaya Leaf Extract. Low platelet count also affects red and white blood cells, so these should be increased as well. Keep in mind that there is research in murine models (mice) showing mild liver spot necrosis from large doses of papaya leaf extract.
    • Low Red Blood Cells: Plant-sourced (non-heme) iron. Heme iron (from animal sources) is taken up by cancer cells a lot easier than non-heme; however, it should be part of the protocol if you’re taking artemisinin as artemisinin hunts for iron inside cancer cells.
    • Neprinol AFD by Arthur Andrew Medical dissolves scar tissue, microscopic blood clots, reduces inflammation etc. Blood cancers frequently have microscopic blood clots as a side effect, leading to light-headedness, dizziness and other not-fun symptoms. This high-quality systemic enzyme formulation does a great job with micro-clots and everything else proteolytic enzymes are used for.
    • Thyroid Support. Also here.
    • Mycoplasma pneumoniae (if blood test shows lingering remnants of pneumonia): NutraMedix Banderol and Cumanda.
    • Anti-viral (e.g., herpesvirus): Xymogen L-Lysine.
    • Hormonal Support, Fat Metabolism: DIM-250.
    • Low White Blood Cell Count, Viruses: Thymosin Alpha 1 (peptide injections, by prescription).
    • Viruses, Infections: LL-37 (peptide injections, by prescription).
  • Mushrooms – Fresh: Maitake, Shiitake, and Turkey Tail. Either or all — whatever you can find — should be part of at least one daily meal.
  • Kefir and other fermented foods. You can ferment vegetables at home (many videos online). To make kefir at home, use either Bravo Co-op’s starter pack or Live kefir grains. The benefit of grains over Bravo’s offering is that the grains are reusable — you simply store them in milk until ready for the next batch. Grains can also make kefir out of other types of milk, including coconut milk and even almond- and oat-milks (once they become stronger and larger in regular milk). Worth noting that dairy products should be avoided during active treatment, so fermented veggies (sauerkraut, kimchi, etc.) are preferred during this stage.
  • Royal Jelly and Bee Pollen. Royal jelly is packed with micronutrients (there is a reason the queen bee’s lifespan is 20 times longer than worker bees’). Royal jelly must be stored in the refrigerator at all times, but if you can find it, get it.
  • Soursop (fresh fruit and tea from leaves).
  • Pure Synergy Superfood. Recommended by Dr. Gerald Smith. I’ve never seen another supplement as packed with nutrients as this. We use it as part of the post-treatment maintenance plan.
  • Note on Vitamin E. Excellent as a cancer preventative, but, at least according to Jane McLelland, not recommended if you already have cancer. Not sure if this makes sense, to be honest (same as with glutathione), but to be safe, I stayed away during active treatment. The latest information I heard on this is that it’s tocopherols that are dangerous during cancer, but not tocotrienols; the first formula above (Annatto E) contains tocotrienols only.

Items to Avoid

  • Pea Protein. Some cancers, e.g. lymphomas, have a lot more affinity for some amino-acids and feed off them. L-glutamine and L-arginine are two of these and are abundant in some foods — for instance, pea protein. It is virtually impossible to maintain your regular weight as you deal with cancer. It’s best to accept that, at least for a time, this will be the case. Supplementing with healthy fats is better than supplementing with protein that may have questionable effects.
  • Laetrile/Vitamin B17. While there are encouraging reports on laetrile, I got a massive allergic reaction after working up to 7-8 apricot pits that put me in the emergency room, and I took it out of my regimen. Surviving cancer is not going to be much use if you end up suffocating to death because of an airway that swells shut literally in a matter of minutes.
  • Hydrogen Peroxide. H2O2 does a great job oxygenating the body. Unfortunately, the protocol has to be followed extremely meticulously, and if you are off even a tiny bit in timing or amount, you will destroy your stomach in a matter of minutes (take a wild guess how I got my first case of gastritis), and it will take you weeks to restore it to normal — weeks during which you won’t be able to take anything, thus allowing cancer to have a more or less free rein on your body. It’s just not worth the risk when so many other treatments are available.

Other Helpful Items

  • Food Processor. Indispensable time saver for salads and such.
  • Blender. For smoothies. We used Vitamix, but anything that does the job will do.
  • Magic Bullet. If your blender is large, this small device is a lot more manageable for mixing powders in water and juice and definitely preferable to doing it by hand. We discovered at the end that our unit sometimes leaks drops of black sludge into the juice. It appears to be fine plastic powder and so most definitely extremely toxic. Try to find something else or just mix by hand, although the consistency naturally won’t be the same.
